QBI maintains an instructor/student ratio of no more than 1:20. The staff that will efficiently carry out and oversee the training programs will consist of the following individuals:
Executive Director: Neil C. Cuomo- More than 20 years administrative experience with QBITTI. Mr. Cuomo is the President of QBITTI. His responsibilities include: Program liaison, oversees the entire program from recruitment to placement, review and evaluation of program scheduling, helps in the intake, recruitment and orientation process, reviews all student monthly evaluations including Individual Service Strategy (ISS) and Employability Development Plan (EDP), assures that all financial and accounting requirements for the Long Island City school are met, oversees the Admissions procedures and staff.
Manager-Accounts Receivable: Meredith Cuomo – Responsible for A/R collections and posting as well as many other fiscal duties
Placement Counselor: Robert Camara has more than 15 years in the Office Machine Industry as a Training Manager and Technical Field Manager. He holds training Certificates from Canon and Sharp Manufacturers. Mr. Camara is responsible for placement activities, review and evaluation of program scheduling.
Telecommunications Instructor: Eugene O’Halloran - Long Island City. Responsibilities include: complete technical training of all students including preparation of monthly evaluations, availability for after class remedial assistance and technical tutoring, helps Placement Counselor with job development and placement activities.
Computers/LAN Instructor: Edward Nevarez - Long Island City. Responsibilities include: complete technical training of all students including preparation of monthly evaluations, availability for after class remedial assistance and technical tutoring, helps Placement Counselor with job development and placement activities.
Photocopier/Electronics Instructor: Martin Delvalle - Long Island City. Responsibilities include: complete technical training of all students including preparation of monthly evaluations, availability for after class remedial assistance and technical tutoring, helps Placement Counselor with job development and placement activities.
Admissions/Recruitment Counselor: Millie Lainez- Long Island City. Responsibilities include: Recruitment activities, maintaining compliance with admission standards, marketing, documenting marketing efforts, preparation recruitment related correspondence, outside recruitment, interviewing and assessment of prospective students, conducting the orientation sessions, selection of students for enrollment.
Workforce Developer/Placement Counselor: Ed Nevarez – Long Island City. Responsibilities include: Placement activities, resume preparation, marketing, documenting marketing efforts, preparation recruitment related correspondence, outside placement, conducting the orientation sessions.
Building Maintenance Instructor: Seon Hooper- Long Island City. Responsibilities include: complete technical training of all students including preparation of monthly evaluations, availability for after class remedial assistance and technical tutoring, helps Placement Counselor with job development and placement activities.
Electricians Instructor/Instructor Manager: Ed Woodson- Long Island City. Responsibilities include: complete technical training of all students including preparation of monthly evaluations, availability for after class remedial assistance and technical tutoring, helps Placement Counselor with job development and placement activities.
Plumbing Instructor: Lloyd Hunsdorfer- Long Island City. Responsibilities include: complete technical training of all students including preparation of monthly evaluations, availability for after class remedial assistance and technical tutoring, helps Placement Counselor with job development and placement activities.
Electronics Instructor: Ricardo Barriffe- Long Island City. Responsibilities include: complete technical training of all students including preparation of monthly evaluations, availability for after class remedial assistance and technical tutoring, helps Placement Counselor with job development and placement activities.
Fiber Optics Instructor: Wallace Allen – Long Island City, NY Responsibilities include: complete technical training of all students including preparation of monthly evaluations, availability for after class remedial assistance and technical tutoring, helps Placement Counselor with job development and placement activities.
