Plumber's Helper Training Program

The Plumber's Helper Training Program is designed to teach you how install, repair and maintain both Commercial and Residential plumbing systems.  In addition, you will learn the necessary skills to apply for a license, and even apply for union membership.  No prior experience is necessary, and classes start every 7 weeks.  Click on the word schedule for the next available start date.

As a graduate of our program you will become a highly skilled and valuable laborer in the plumbing field.  Plumbers install, repair and maintain hot and cold water supplies, drain and waste systems for domestic, commercial and industrial applications.  They also work with oil, gas and solid fuel appliances, central heating and cooling systems, and the NYC Plumbing code.  Our course starts with the basics, and builds on this educational foundation with plenty of hands-on training.

          Dimensioning, Measuring and Safety
          Basic Plumbing
          Intermediate Plumbing Installations and Repair
          Drain, Waste and Venting
          Water Supply Systems
          Commercial Piping
