As you know, QBITTI is a licensed vocational training school with the New York State Education Departments Bureau of Proprietary Schools Supervision (NYSED:BPSS).  We currently offer six certificate programs, and numerous customized training programs for both students and employers.  To find out more about training programs please scroll down this page. 


Telecommunications
The Telecommunications Technician Training Course teaches our students how to install, troubleshoot and repair Telephone Systems, Cabling Systems, Computer Networks and Alarm systems.  Major topics covered by the course include: basic electronic, PC computers, networking, fiber optics, CCTV and Cabling, and of course telecommunications technology (Telephony).  For further details about these courses click on the menu alongside this paragraph.


Electronic Office Equipment/Photocopier Repair Course


The Electronic Office Equipment/Photocopier repair course teaches our students how to repair and install both analog and digital photocopiers, Laser Printers and Fax machines. Major topics covered by the course include: Basic electronics, electro-mechanical technology, photocopy/xerographic processes, digital copying, and laser operations.  For further details about these courses click on the menu alongside this paragraph.


Electrician's  Helper Training Course
The Electrician's Helper Training Course is designed to teach students how to become both residential and commercial electricians.  Students who graduate from this course go on to work for licensed electricians throughout NYC and its surrounding boroughs, with the ultimate goal of getting their own license and even joining the unions.

QBITTI Teaches Building Maintenance
QBITTI trains students to become Building Maintainers, Assistant Supers and Construction Laborers.  In this course we teach our students about basic plumbing, construction math, building codes, carpentry, painting, masonry, drywall installation and finishing stripping, sealing, buffing and waxing floors and many other topics.  Graduates from this program have gone on to jobs with NYC, the MTA, and many other companies as well as joing unions like 32BJ. 
Plumber's Helper Training Program

QBITTI teaches you how to become a plumbers
The Plumber's Helper Training Program is designed to teach our students how to become plumber's assistants/helpers in the NYC area.   As you may know, NYC has some of the most complicated plumbing zoning laws in the world.  Our students begin their training by learning about construction math, installation of basic and intermediate plumbing fixtures, Water Supply systems, Drain, Waste and Vents, and commercial piping as they relate to the NYC plumbing code.
Certified Fiber Optic Technician Training Course
The Fiber Optic courses are designed for the skilled and experienced Telecommunications or Electrical Technicians to learn about cutting edge technology involving Fiber Optic Cables.  These courses teach everything from How a Fiber Cable works to installing, troubleshooting and splicing fiber optic cables.  We use both Sumitomo and Fujikura Fusion splicers in our course, as well as OTDR simulators, Light Source and Power meters, and many other specialty tools.  Our courses are NYSED:BPSS licensed, and approved by the FOA (Fiber Optic Association of America).
