Students who withdraw or are terminated from the course prior to graduation may be due a tuition refund from the school. Our Tuition Refund Policy is in accordance with NYSED:BPSS regulations, and is detailed below. Students are reminded that it is the student=s responsibility to request a tuition refund from the school.
The failure of a student to immediately notify the Director in writing of withdrawal may delay the refund of tuition due pursuant to section 5002 of the Education Law.
Tuition refunds amounts are determined based on chronology and clock hours attended. Students should refer to the formulas below to calculate their refund amounts.
1-7 Days After Signing the Enrollment Agreement - A student who cancels within 7 days of signing the enrollment agreement receives all monies returned with the exception of the non-refundable registration fee of $100.

Tuition Liability - As of the student's last date of physical attendance. Tuition liability is divided by the number of quarters in the program. Total tuition liability is limited to the quarter during which the student withdrew or was terminated, and to any previous quarters completed.
First and Second Quarters- Full Time Day Schedule (21 weeks)
If termination occurs before
A student completes: School may retain:
The 1st week or 30 Training Hours 0% of the quarter's tuition
The 2nd week or 60 Training Hours 25% of the quarter's tuition
The 3rd week or 90 Training Hours 50% of the quarter's tuition
The 4th week or 120 Training Hours 75% of the quarter's tuition
After the 5th week or 150 Training Hours 100% of the quarter's tuition
First, Second and Third Quarters- Part Time Evening Schedule (40 weeks)
If termination occurs before
A student completes: School may retain:
The 1st week or 16 Training Hours 0% of the quarter's tuition
The 2nd week or 32 Training Hours 25% of the quarter's tuition
The 3rd week or 48 Training Hours 50% of the quarter's tuition
The 4th week or 64 Training Hours 75% of the quarter's tuition
After the 5th week or 80 Training Hours 100% of the quarter's tuition
The student refund may be more than that stated above if the accrediting agency or Federal refund policy results in a greater refund.
PROCEDURE FOR OBTAINING A REFUND
Students eligible for tuition refunds must request a refund in writing, and mail the request to the Director of the school. QBITTI will process the request in accordance with the refund schedule above, less any materials costs, and mail the refund to the student.
