What we do:
QBI, The Training Institute, or QBITTI for short, is a Queens, NY-based Adult Vocational Training School that specializes in training its students to become either Technicians or Tradesmen. Our Technician training programs include - Telecommunications, Fiber Optic Installation and Repair, Comp/TIA A+ Computer Technician, and Office Machine/Photocopier Repair. Our Tradesmen training programs include - Plumbers Helper, Electricians Helper, and Building Maintenance fields. In addition to our major's course offerings, we also offer Specialized Training in OSHA-10 and OSHA- 30 certifications for the building trades, and CFOT (Certified Fiber Optic Technician) and CPCT (Certified Premises Cabling Technician) certifications for the Telecommunications Field.
No prior experience is needed to enroll in any of our major courses. At QBITTI we are simply looking for students who are ready, willing, and able to learn new trades and begin new careers. This website is designed to help you learn more about our school and the many services we offer to students, referral organizations, community-based programs, DOEs and DOLs, and our employers. Here you will find information about our courses, class schedules, school policies, and much more. We also have a special section for your Employers! Employers can download resumes from recent graduates, learn about internship opportunities, and find information about our customized training programs specifically designed to fit your individual training needs.

Building Maintenance Program
This program is designed to train students to become building maintenance workers or construction workers.

This program covers electrical installation, operation, and maintenance for residential and commercial buildings.
